The Franchise Act has been amended twice in the last 10 years through the Franchise (Amendment) Act 2012 and the Franchise (Amendment) Act 2020. The 2020 Amendment was gazetted in 6th March 2020. For the good of all stakeholders, I append below pdf files of my notes and Act of Parliament for your perusal and understanding.

Failure to understand and non-compliance may amount to grave consequence as the Franchise Act creates an offence for such omission.
