It is good to note that the Malaysia Government Prime MInister Ismail Sabri continues with the micro and affordable franchise development program with a grant package aimed at developing more franchise packages worth RM100,000 and below.
Franchise industry is provides more than 80,000 jobs, a contribution valued at more RM1.4 billion in the annual economic cycle for workers of franchise companies.

As at November 30, (2021), the value of the franchise industry has surpassed RM14.6 billion, an increase of almost 10 per cent compared to the year before even though the current financial year has not yet ended and the world is still facing the Covid-19 pandemic.

IN the recent budget 2022, the Government through PERNAS will provide RM74 million, amongst others, training programs and business guidance for those who are interested in becoming franchise entrepreneurs, with a zero financing scheme for the first six months together with a moratorium.

Hopefully, life will continue without Covid in 2022.
